King Associates have been appointed to provide design and supervision of the Mechanical & Electrical Building Services for a new development of over 1100 student bedrooms together with retail and industrial facilities, and site wide infrastructure incorporating a low Carbon Biomass district heating system.

St Georges Bridge, Newport

Opal Developments have appointed King Associates to provide Design and Supervision of the Mechanical and Electrical Building Services for their new build Student Accommodation block, located adjacent to St George Bridge in Newport. The development which will provide over 500 student bedrooms and is built on an existing brownfield site, will continue King Associates close client association with the Opal Property Group.

Opal3, Leeds

This 23 storey Student Accommodation development will provide over 550 student bedrooms and is currently on programme to be completed in September 2008. The project is King Associates third student accommodation scheme to be completed in Leeds and makes up a design port-folio in the region of 10,000 rooms together with leisure, retail and commercial facilities.

Opal2, Sheffield

The Opal2 student accommodation scheme is one of three developments that King Associates have been involved in, providing full Building Services Consultancy advice and supervision. The Opal2 development comprises over 1000 student bedrooms together with retail and leisure space in addition to 300 private residential apartments.
